beautiful squeegee paintings by Gerhard Richter

> collecting inspiration for my trend prediction project, looking to summer/spring 2012, looking to combine the idea of distortion-abstraction, with print against sleek, classic feminine silhouettes...i love the blurring and merging of colours in Richter's paintings, especially his surrealist work, painting over photographed images, to create a surreal view of an existing setting.
LOVE his colour schemes and mark making.

Spindle Catwalk - Brighton Fashion Week - Part One

OOPS! fashion in spindle magazine.

Zara's weird and wonderful window displays, autumn 2010.

Love the whole concept of this window display, the satirical view of fashion, ie,''being a clothes horse''- models with horse hair manes, were positioned around scrap paper and magazines, like their 'bedding', carrot props and theatrical masks sprout from the rubbish, suggesting a facade?
Liking the use of layering throughout the display, textures clashing- knitts, furs, lace, prints, denim, topped off with  the essential pair of winter boots.
